Snatched From Twitter: Come up hither!

On Saturday 29th January 2011, said:

I heard a story during a discussion between Pastor Bill Winston and Pastor Kenneth Copeland, about how God thinks and how you should think.

A man from America went to one of the arab countries and did some merchandising business for them from the united states.

To show their appreciation, a member of the royal family wanted to give him a gift. He said "no Sir, you don't need to, we're professionals just doing our job". The royal member insisted that it was a part of his culture's custom to show their appreciation with gifts. So as not to offend them, the man relented and said "Ok just give me a golf club."

He flew back to the united states expecting he'd see UPS

any day now with that golf club. Two weeks at home, he heard a knock on the door; A gentleman standing there greets him with
"'scuse me, are you mister so and so?"
"yes I am"
"My name is so and so, and if you could please come with me; I'd like to take you to your golf club"

18 holes, golf club house, everything.

Isaiah 55:8-9 8

“ For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.
9 “ For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts. ”

Here's a man thinking money's no object. The man that has no limits on his thinking thinks a whole country club while the other fellow is thing one golf stick.

God took the limit off you're life. You're the one who has put a limit on your life.

Get into God's Word and start seeing the way God sees.

Snatched from twitter: Man is a spirit

On Friday 28th January 2011, said:
Do you know who you are? Man is a spirit, he lives in a body, and he possesses a soul. When a person 'dies' in the natural, that means his spirit&soul;has departed from his body.
Your body resembles your spirit. Your body is like a form-fitting cat suit that takes the shape of your spirit. Your body is your home on earth. It is what makes you legally able to function in this physical realm.

Your soul has the attributes you acquire while here on earth. It comprises of your mind, emotions and will.

Your spirit is the real you. It is your very essence. Your spirit is what God created in His image(meaning you look like Him) and his likeness (meaning you function like Him). He made your body after creating you.

Your spirit has the task of formulating your path, after searching the commands you've given it. Your spirit is not your mind. It can communicate with your mind(through your connection with God's Spirit) but it's not your mind.

So how do you give your spirit a command to direct your path? You do so by the WORDS you speak and give ear to, and by the images you imbibe.
If your language is one of defeat, death, destruction etc, that is what your life will look like. That is the course you will travel. Where you are in life today is in direct relation to what words you heard and spoke yesterday. It is the picture you played yesterday.

Your spirit has the properties of air. All spirit is like the wind. Very few people allow themselves to see spirits, so it's very likely that you wont see spirits (unless you're a small child who doesn't debate spiritual existence and as such, hasn't disallowed seeing the spiritual)

We are not natural beings having a spiritual experience. Instead, we are spirits having a natural experience.

The Acts of God

Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths (Psalm 25:4).

Many were brought up under a system where out of ignorance, God was portrayed as a despot and a destroyer. They were taught in school that the earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, tsunamis and famines that have ravaged lives, cities and even nations are "the acts of God." But those are not acts of God. The Bible says "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning" (James 1:17). This simply lets us know that whatever is not good and helpful couldn't be from God, for He's a good God, and His gifts and acts are good all the time.

Sweet water and bitter water don't flow from the same fountain (James 3:11). Therefore, God, who is goodness personified, cannot at the same time be the one responsible for sufferings, destructions and disasters that take place in the world. The Bible shows us that the real destroyer is satan. He's the evil one responsible for the terrible disasters and catastrophes that steal people's health, joy, money or peace.

But thanks be unto God, the world is not at the mercy of satan and his filthy acts of destruction! God has given us the power to subdue, tame, and forbid satan from carrying out his manoeuvering and manipulative acts of wickedness around us: "Behold, I give unto you power to tread upon serpents and scorpians, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you" (Luke 10:19). Observe that it's God who gave us, His children, power over all the works of the enemy. Hence, He couldn't possibly be the one responsible for the works He gave us power to forestall.

Acts 10:38 lets us in on the kind of works or acts that can be ascribed to God: "How God appointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." The devil is the one responsible for the evil and oppression in the world today; they're his works. But the Bible says in 1 John 3:8: "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. "

Every time you hear, see or read about a supernatural intervention in human affairs that defies conventional or natural sequence, resulting in the preservation of life and the general good of humanity, that is a miracle; and that is an act of God. God loves people and it's His pleasure to see them healthy, prosperous and normal. You can trust Him even now to bring His unlimited power to bear on your situation for you to recieve a miracle.

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I pray for the greater manifestions of your power in the Church so that your children, through the power of your Spirit and revelation of your Word, will experience your love continually, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

God Is A Spirit

As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were (Romans 4:17)

The Bible says that God is a Spirit (John 4:24). This means that the realm in which He operates is the realm of the spirit, and to Him, things in that realm are more real than the things in the physical realm that we see. To him, things that be not; things that don't appear real in the physical realm have already come to pass. I'll give you a good example of this, using the account of creation in Genesis.

Now when you read Genesis Chapter one, without studying further, you may get the impression that when God said "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind," grass immediately began shooting out of the ground and trees instantly sprang up. But as you study further in chapter two, you'll find that even though God commanded the plants to come into being, and saw that they were good, They didn't spring up immediately because He needed a man to till the ground, and rain to water the plants (Genesis 2:4).

Why then does the Bible say that everything God commanded to become, became? Where were they? They were in the spirit! As far as God was concerned, they were real. For example, when He said to Abraham, ''I have made you a father of many nations"(Romans 4:17), the man didn't have any child, and was already well advanced in age-almost a hundred years old. His wife Sarah was barren, but to God, Abraham was already a father of many nations.

So when God says to you, "I have given you that job," don't just look to the physical structure of the organization to which you tendered an application. Receive it in the spirit first! How? By Faith! Lay hold to that word because to God, you already have the job; yours is to take possession. When He says "I have given you a child," don't look at your belly; recieve it first in the spirit!

If you must have a fruitful walk with God, you have to learn to see what he has given you first in the spirit. If you don't see it there, you'll never see it in the physical realm, for He's a Spirit and operates from the realm of the Spirit. That's why in blessing us, He didn't bless us with all the physical blessings in the world first, but with "all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 1:3). He did it that way because the spiritual is greater than the physical and gave birth to it.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for enlightening the eyes of my spirit today, through your Word, to see and recieve every good thing that belongs to me in Christ Jesus. As I see them, I call them real and walk in the reality of your manifold and eternal blessings, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

So how does one take possession of a thing by the spirit, you may be wondering.
You picture it in your possession. If it's a car, you picture yourself driving it. If it's a child, you might picture yourself raising him/her years from now. You picture the end results. God sees the end from the beginning, and so should you.

After you've picture those things, you open your mouth, raise your hands and give God thanks for those things. Keep in mind that you're giving thanks not because He's gonna give it to you, but because He's already given it to you.(Remember that all promises in Him are 'yea' and 'amen')

You then keep your proceeding language and actions in line with the spiritual possession you've taken. You don't want to nullify the spiritual process that's already in place.

When God wanted Abraham to see how great his offspring would be in numbers, he told him to look at the stars in the sky. You need to picture that thing you desire before you can get it physically.

You say : "I thank you for giving me [the thing you desire]"

That's how you take possession in the spirit.

God Always Says "Yes!"

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us (2 Corinthians 1:20)

One time, Smith Wigglesworth was called upon to pray for a woman who had died. "It's no use," some folks said, trying to discourage him, but he wouldn't be discouraged. Rather, he started praying, and as he prayed it seemed as though the heavens were locked up with bronz gates, thus, preventing his prayers from going through. The more he prayed, the more it seemed God was saying "No she's already dead, forget about it!"

Instead of allowing his sences to dictate to him, he continued to earnestly in prayer till he got note of victory in his spirit. Suddenly he shouted, ''Yes! Yes! Yes! She's alive!" Then he stood her straight against the wall and said "In the name of Jesus, I command you to walk!" Instantly the woman began to walk. Hallelujah!

God never says no. I've heard some people say, "God always answers every prayer either by saying 'yes' or 'no'! He says 'yes' if He honours your request, and 'no' if He doesn't!" This sounds logical, but it sure doesn't measure up with the Character of God and what the Bible says. The Bible shows that all the promises of God in Christ are all "yes" (2 Corinthians 1:20); not "yes sometimes," and ''no some other times." In other words, if you ask according to His will, which means you ask in faith and in the Name of Jesus, His answer will definately be a "yes."

But if you ask with a heart full of doubt and unbelief, you've pushed the wrong codes, and that way, He won't hear you. It's like wanting to reach a friend on the phone and dialling the wrong number. You'll never be able to get through to him that way because even though you made a call, it was the wrong number. So when you pray and don't recieve an answer it's not because God said "no" to your request; He didn't hear you because you were praying amiss. You weren't praying according to His will-His Word: "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us"(1 John 5:14)

Understand that God never refuses His Kids any good thing; He never says "no"; it's not in His nature to withhold any blessing from His children. Therefore when you face challenges and it seems the world is against you, just laugh, for your heavenly Father is more than willing to answer you speedily when you make your requests known unto Him.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for hearing me always, and granting my heart's desires each time I pray. I live joyfully everyday, knowing that all your promises to me in Christ Jesus are yes and amen; I'm living in the realities of my inheritance in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Ok Trelan's commentary here:

Don't get freaked out by the mention of "God's will" staring blankly at the computer screen with that puzzled look... *I raise my eyebrow at you* hahaha!
The first thing to understand is that God's will is God's Word. What does His Word say, and what does it say about you (yes, YOU- you need to personalize the scriptures when you read it! *smirk*).
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

Another thing to clue on God's will for you is His very nature and attitude towards people. God is Love(His nature) and He loves all people(His attitude) so if you're praying for your enemies to get slammed by the next bus to Pitsburgh, know that hate and vindictiveness are outside His will and thus it wont get answered.

If you pray to be a blessing to others (and or) to improve your life/circumstances, or to recieve a healing etc, God's answer is already a yes.

Another part of His will is your faith. Faith = believing AND acting on that belief. So when you pray be conscious of the fact that you're connecting with God in a personal way. Believe His Word that his answer is 'yes'. Then start thanking him for answering your prayer, resting assured that it is done.

Read Deutoronomy 28:1-14 for his promises (you can read the rest of that chapter to understand the curses if u so choose- understand though that we are now under grace and not the law)

See It Inside First!

And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever (Genesis 13:14-15).

When God told Abraham to "Lift up his eyes and look," He wasn't referring to his physical eyes, but to the eyes of his spirit. He wanted the man to look into the realm of the spirit and see the realities of God's Kingdom. That's the realm where seeming impossible situations in this earthly realm become possible. However, the only way to see into this realm is through prayer and study of the Word.

The Word of God is "Light" (1 John 1:7); when you start walking in the light of God's Word, the realm of the spirit will come alive to you and you'll start functioning from that realm, just like your heavenly Father. I remember the story of a certain woman and her six year-old daughter, who both had polio and were brought to a healing meeting with a certain minister. After a session of prayers for the sick, the six year-old girl got healed immediately, but her mother wasn't and wished she had been healed like her daughter.

About four years later, after listening to some tapes by the same minister on healing, she got healed! How? As she listened to the Word of God, she was able to see into the realm of the spirit and saw that there was no sickness or disease in her body! Soon as she got a hold of that PICTURE, nothing could stop her healing from manifesting in the physical. That's living from the inside out! You need to see that miracle you desire first by your eyes of your spirit.

You can live free of sickness, poverty, failure, and suffering if you'd only turn the light of God's Word on your life. That way, you'll see the real you, and the realities of the glorious, prosperous and successful life God has called you to.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your Word, which is a light unto my path and a lamp unto my feet. As I study your Word today, let the eyes of my understanding be flooded with light, that I may see, understand and take advantage of all you've prepared for me in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Greater Truths And Lesser Truths

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also (Genesis 1:16)

In the Scriptures, "light" symbolizes "truth." As two great lights the Lord made (the sun and the moon), one being greater than the other, so are the greater truths and lesser truths revealed to us in the Word of God. All the wonderful truths revealed to us in the gospel don't rank equally; some are greater than others. Your desire should be to always function in the revelation of the greater truths. Studying the life of the Lord Jesus will show you clearly how to walk in the greater truths of God's Word.

Divine healing, for example, is a truth and a blessing from God; it's wonderful to know that no matter the nature of the sickness, you can recieve healing. But there's a greater truth to that, and it's the fact that you can live in divine health everyday of your life; I'm talking about a state where you're sickness, disease and infirmity free- never needing to be healed. We never read in the Bible that one day, Jesus had a cold or headache or contracted the flu, and then sent Peter to assemble the other disciples to pray for Him to be healed. He lived in divine health.

The Bible refers to healing as the children's bread (Matthew 15:26). In other words, it is children (spiritual babes) that require healing. As you mature in the things of the Spirit you leave the good things for the best-you move from asking for healing to living in divine health. That's when you've chosen to see and live by the greater light.

Deliverance is also a great truth, but living in divine protection is a greater truth. All through the ministry of Jesus, He never needed to be set free or delivered from the devil or any trouble. There's something greater and better than you getting into trouble for God to bring you out of it; that's divine protection-God shielding you completely from trouble. That's the greater truth, and that's the revelation by which you ought to live.

So, in your life, put the Word to work, for the Word is the true light (John 1:9, 17:17). Measure your life's experiences with the Word and the life of the Lord Jesus, and function continually in the greater truths of God's Word.

PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus, my gaze is fixed on you and your eternal Word, to guard and guide me in life. You're my perfect example and I purpose to function always in the greater revelations of your Word! Thank you Lord for your Spirit that enlightens my heart and causes me to grasp and walk in the deeper realities of the Kingdom! Amen.

DO SOMETHING!

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give him that needeth (Ephesians 4:28)

As a child of God, the Bible says whatsoever you do shall prosper (Psalm 1:3). Never be idle. Refuse to be jobless. If you don't have a job, make one. Find something you're good at; something that's good for God and good for people, and start doing it. Refuse to let your mind go to sleep. Don't loaf about like a hobo. Look inwards for creative ideas.

Someone may say, "I've searched for jobs everywhere, for ten years, to no avail; I'm getting frustrated." My question to you is "What can you do?" There must be something you're good at, find it and do it. Pastor Chris teaches that the first requirement for success is looking out for a human need, and then reaching out to meet that need. So don't wait for someone to give you a job, make one! Before long, if you're diligent, what you started will grow and you'll be employing others.

Stop waiting; do something. Take a step of faith. When Jesus ministered to the sick, He always had them do something. He made them take a step of faith. To the fellow that was paralyzed and couldn't walk He said "Get up, take your bed and go home" (Mark 2:11). To the man who couldn't stretch forth his hand, He said "Stretch forth thine hand"; and when he did, his withered arm recieved strength and was restored (Mark 3:5).

So you see that God requires an effort on your part; He needs a point of contact for your miracle. Once you put in an effort; especially into that which He has inspired you to do, His miracle-power comes upon your efforts and His glory is revealed in what you do. The effort you put in becomes strengthened by His mighty hand. That's what's important-when God's touch comes upon your life, and His glory is revealed in what you do.

How did Joseph, a prisoner, end up as the Prime Minister of Egypt, next only to the Pharaoh? He did something. He used his gifts to serve others and God promoted him, and Joseph became the Prime Minister of Egypt. Search yourself; dig deep within you and discover the treasure and talents that you have. Put them to work and the annointing of the Lord will cause them to produce and multiply.

CONFESSION
I refuse to let my mind go to sleep! I'm bringing forth good things today from within me! For I know i have treasures in me with which to bless my world. Lord, I thank you for opening my eyes to know what I can do to impact my world for you. Amen.

No More "Shadowboxing"

...I fight to win. I'm not just shadowboxing or playing around (1 Corinthians 9:26 TLB).

Have you ever seen a boxer who is practising the punches without an opponent? It's part of training, to learn how to throw hypothetical punches at an imaginary adversary. However, the boxer's coach knows that no matter how great the man looks shadowboxing like that, he will only know his true ability when he gets in the ring to fight for the belt.

Many people have found themselves shadowboxing and not making any real progress in their lives. They're running the race of life aimlessly; they have a ticket to nowhere. Don't run aimlessly.

As you play the game of life, maintain focus. What are the definate things you plan to achieve? Set your heart on them and let nothing stop you from achieving your goals. Remember, with the Holy Spirit living in you, you have the wisdom and impetus to succeed in any endeavour. You have in you the yeast to rise. You're a winner and a victor in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for repositioning me through your WORD. I will not shadowbox this year and I will not run aimlessly or merely go through the motions. By the help of the Holy Ghost, I am yet achieving supernatural results in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Don't Consider The Circumstances

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18)

Talking about Abraham, the Bible says "...he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb..."(Romans 4:19).

He was a hundred years old when God told him he would have a son and call his name Isaac. Though he was already stricken with age, he refused to consider his body as being unable to reproduce! Niether did he consider the fact that Sarah's womb was dead. He was undeterred by the physical and natural evidences that challenged the Word of God. Everything he knew in this world, told him it was impossible for him to have a child. Yet, Abraham didn't consider all of those.

What then did he consider? The Word! He gave thought, attention and focus only on the Word that God had spoken to him.

Faith doesn't mean you don't feel the pain. Faith means, "I feel the pain alright, but I refuse to consider it; I refuse to let it dictate my actions." Never let what you see, how you feel, or anything contrary to God's Word run your life. God's words to you are "yea and amen"(2 Corinthians 1:20); that means they're settled and established. Your role is to believe them and give no place to doubt and unbelief.

CONFESSION
I have absolute faith in God and His unfailing and eternal Word! No contrary wind, circumstances or situation that I may face can dissipate my confidence in the Word of God to me! Through the power of God's Word, my faith prevails today in Jesus' Name. Amen.

LOVE WITHOUT LIMITS

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:17-19)

Here, the Apostle Paul, through the Spirit lets us know how important it is for us to comprehend the immensity of God's love; His boundless love, which can only be grasped by revelation. Thus, he prayed that by the help of God's Spirit, God's people would comprehend the limitless dimension of the Father's love: its length, and depth, and height.

Paul wasn't just referring to having a mental knowledge or understanding of God's love when he used the word "comprehend" in the scripture above. Rather he used the Greek word
"katalambano" which means to understand something and make it yours; to make it your present reality! Scientific knowledge or human mental activity can't grasp the love of Christ. That's why the Spirit of God, through the Apostle Paul, prays that you'll be able to comprehend the boundless, immeasurable and unconditional love the Father has towards. It's love without limits.

God loves you! As simple as this truth may sound, if you dare believe it, and let it sink deep into your consciousness, it will change your life forever and give you a new confidence. God's love is the greatest power in the universe. No wonder the Spirit of God, through the Apostle Paul prayed "
...that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:17-19)"

Get secured in the Father's love; take advantage of the fact that He loves you with an everlasting (Jeremiah 31:3). He loves you as though you were the only one on earth! Thus every morning when you wake up say, "Thank you Lord for loving me so much, without limits!"

PRAYER
Christ dwells in my heart by faith; and I, being rooted and grounded in love, comprehend with all the saints, the boundless love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that I may be filled with all the fullness of God! Amen

Choose The Right Thoughts

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he... (Proverbs 23:7)

You have the ability to choose what you should think about and reject what you shouldn't. This might sound like a mystery to some people just because their minds run riot all the time! But the Bible says
"...whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report... think on these things" (Philippians 4:8). That suggests you can direct your mind to think the right thoughts only! You can control your thoughts.

Thoughts are more than mere imaginations; they are mental pictures of the mind with constructive or destructive capabilities. Thoughts, many times, are your own creation-they are the mental constructions of your mind based on your imaginations. They have the power to keep you in bondage or liberate you to be the best of you.

That's why until you change a man's way of thinking, his life and the circumstances of his existence will not change. Even God can't do anything for that man. That's how powerful our thoughts are, and this is the reason we're admonished in Scripture to choose our thoughts; think only on things that are just, pure, lovely and of good report. Don't let your mind wander off with the wrong thoughts; discipline your mind to choose thoughts you will accept and process.

The Bible says to mount a garrison over your heart (Proverbs 4:23); don't allow every thought to come in. Reject thoughts that tend to demean or depress you; accept thoughts of success, joy, victory and prosperity that are based on God's Word.

Your life goes in the direction of your thinking, for you're the character of your thoughts. So, it doesn't matter what happens to you, or in what unpleasant situation you find yourself, you can either decide to remain there or come out of it by imbibing the right thinking! Appraise the situation from the standpoint of God's Word, for nothing in this life can make you disadvantaged.

CONFESSION
God's Word is in my heart and in my mouth; and as I think and meditate on the Word today, the circumstances of my day align with the will and purpose of God for me! I attract myself only to thoughts that are consistent with my destiny in Christ-thoughts of victory, increase, success, health and strength, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

Praying In Tongues Helps You See Into The Realm Of The Spirit

While we look not at things seen, but things unseen; for things seen are temporary, but things unseen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18 WNT)

The Bible says that God is a Spirit (John 4:24). This means that the realm in which God operates is the realm of the spirit, and to Him, things in that realm are more real than things in the physical realm. For example, if you needed a job, and then having prayed, God said to you "I've given you the job, " He doesn't need to physically put you in the company first, as proof that He's actually given you the job. As far as He's concerned, it's done; it's a settled fact in the realm of the spirit.

As a child of God, you're also a spirit being, and the Lord expects you to function from the realm of the spirit. But of course, the realm of the spirit is invisible to the human eyes and we need to look into it from our spirits, and praying in other tongues is an utmost advantage in this regard. As you pray in tongues, spiritual realities are unveiled to your spirit, and you're able to see and relate with the 'real' truth concerning any situation. Though Abraham's body was physically dead, he looked into that realm and saw his unborn generations (Romans 4:17). You can also see into the spirit realm and relate with your inheritance in Christ Jesus as you pray in other tongues.

Remember, life is spiritual; everything you can see with your optical eyes and relate with physically, came from the realm of the spirit. So as a Christian, you must make up your mind to operate from the realm of the Spirit for you to win in this life. This is why it is absolutely important that you have insight into that realm. That way, you'll always dominate this physical world.

For you to have a fruitful walk with the Lord, you have to learn to see the way He sees. You must see things first in the spirit ever before they manifest in the physical. This is one more reason you must pray in tongues often, so that your spirit would be activated to see and apprehend those things which the Lord has given you freely to enjoy.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for teaching me to look into the realm of the spirit, where I see realities and not the fleeting shadows of this earthly realm. As I pray with the spirit, I'm transported, away from this earthly realm where I see and apprehend my inheritance in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen

You Can Speak To Your Day!

The steps of a [good] man are directed {and} established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step](Psalm 37:23 AMP)

As Christians, we don't operate by chance, neither do we go anywhere or meet anyone by accident. If you don't understand this truth, you won't be able to control what happens to you and take possession of what belongs to you. But when you know how God works, and you discover your position in Christ, you'll realize nothing happens to you by accident, channce or coincidence.

The Spirit of God brings divine opportunities but it's your responsibility to recognize and maximize each one of them. This is the reason you must learn to declare God's Word into your day every morning, before you go out. Speak peace(nothing missing, nothing broken) and productivity to your day, and the Spirit of God will lead you to the right places at the right time! This is how to operate at the level of the supernatural, where you know nothing will happen to you by chance for God is not a God of chance. I'm sure you understand now why you need to arm yourself with God's Word.

Tell yourself, "today I'm going to walk into divine opportunities. I'm going to put the divinity of God in me to work." That means in every situation you find yourself, you're going to recognize the presence of God, and claim for yourself everything that's good and godly, and refuse to give attention to anything contrary.

Confession
I'm not a child of chance. God has prearranged my life for good. I walk those paths that have been laid out for me before the foundations of the world and I prosper in all my ways.

IT IS UP TO YOU!

Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18).

The word "bind" in the opening scripture also means "forbid" or "disallow". In other words, Jesus is saying "...Whatsoever thou shalt
forbid or disallow on earth shall be forbidden or disallowed in heaven..." That means you're absolutely responsible for the quality of life you live. Some folks don't like to hear things like this, because they love to hold God or even the devil responsible for whatever happens in their lives.

It reminds me of a certain man who heard a preacher teach on this scripture and he stormed out of the church angrily. When he was asked why he was angry at the preacher he replied, "That preacher's trying to blame us for all the bad things". He didn't want to be told he was responsible for his life. But I think that's the best news a man could hear!

If you're responsible for what happens in your life, it means you can choose to accept into your life only those things that are consistent with God's plans for you. Whatever you choose to allow into your life is what will reign, and whatever you choose to forbid or disallow will be forbidden or disallowed. You're absolutely responsible for your life!

You have a choice and the right to welcome health, prosperity and joy into your life and your home. Don't let life push you around one more day; refuse poverty, lack and failure. Forbid sickness, disease and infirmities from manifesting in your body and in your home! It's up to you to keep the devil where he belongs- under your feet. You have the authority!

Prayer
Dear Father, thank you for the awesome privelege of being able to decide the quality of life that I want to live! I unleash the forces of prosperity, health and victory in my life, and disallow sickness, poverty and defeat in my home and in the lives of my loved ones, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Benefits Of Forgiving Others

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, until seven times: but, until seventy times seven (Matthew 18:21-22)

When you forgive, you're the one who benefits. Not to forgive places you at a serious disadvantage and as a child of God, you should act like your heavenly father, who never recalls your offences.

The first benefits of forgiving others is that you keep the door firmly closed against the devil. When you don't forgive, you open the door to bitterness and malice, both of which are satan's keys to entering a person's life. The Bible says "If you become angry, do not let your anger lead you into sin, and do not stay angry all day. Don't give the devil a chance" (Ephesians 4:26-27 GNB)

The second benefit of forgiving others is that when you do, the power of God in your life continues to flow unhindered. Remember that God is love and His power functions in the atmosphere of love. But when you don't forgive others, malice can creep in, which can short-circuit the power of God in your life. This was what happened to the Prophet Elisha in the Bible (2 Kings 3). Elisha was so angry and bitter against the King of Israel that he couldn't hear what the Spirit was saying. He had to call for a musician to play so that the annointing could come on him.

Lastly, forgiving others will keep you in good health! People who harbour unforgiveness in their hearts are susceptible to sickness and disease. The bitterness in their hearts affects their physical bodies and manifests as infirmity. The reason some people are sick and miss out on God's blessings is that they refuse to forgive. So, make up your mind to always forgive those who have wronged you.

If you forget how good God has been to you, you may find it difficult to forgive others when wronged. But when you appreciate the mercy you received from the Lord you'll find it easier to have mercy and forgive others when they've wronged you.

Confession
I am a love-child of a love-God, born of my Father's love and with the capacity to love just like Him. I am tender-hearted, merciful and forgiving just like my heavenly Father. I refuse to allow malice and bitterness take root in my heart because I have the capacity to overlook the faults and shortcomings of others, in Jesus' Name. Amen

Talk Your Way Out Of It!

Even so the tongue is a little member; and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! (James 3:5)

God expects us to prophecy-talk our way out of any negative situation, rather than wait for him to do something. That's why He said, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy"

This is the reason you must fill your heart with the Word, for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). When your heart is saturated with the word, right in the midst of trouble, the Word will well up in you and burst forth through your mouth! It doesn't matter how dire the challenge you're confronted with might seem, you can talk your way out of it. This was what the Lord told Ezekiel to do in the valley of dry bones: "And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD." (Ezekiel 37:3-4).
Ezekiel found himself in a valley full of dry bones and the Lord asked him, "Can these bones live?" That was an impossible situation, but God told Ezekiel to "prophecy to the bones." As soon as Ezekiel complied, a great miracle took place: "... and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone" (Ezekiel 37:7).

The challenges you face are bread for you; refuse to let them drown your faith. No matter how dry the valley may seem, you can talk your way out of it- you can prophecy your way out of any predicament. Keep talking your health, success, prosperity and victory. You can talk your way out of any trouble into the good life God has ordained for you.
(Acts 2:17). To prophecy means to speak words of power. Meaning you can prophecy your way to the top; you can prophecy your way out of trouble, into the good life!

Confession
I'm talking my way to the top! God's Word of Power is in my heart and in my mouth today. I'm walking in the glory of God and living the transcendent life in Christ! I'm effecting changes in my life, and causing negative situation to be in line with God's will and purpose for my life in the Name of Jesus. Amen

A few things I want you to see in Pastor Chris' message here;
Words of power- what does that mean? A word of power is a word backed by your belief in it. If for example, you look in the mirror and declare "I'm fat!" and actually believe that you are fat, even if you're not really fat, you will become fat; because you've spoken a word of power. What you need to do is fill your ears, eyes and mind with the opposite of such words until it gets into your spirit.

When Jesus told that fig tree that no man shall eat of it ever again, you best believe that He believed every word that proceeded out of His mouth! He had so much confidence in His words that He just continued about his day instead anxiously of standing by the tree, biting his nails, waiting for it to keel over. In fact, it was Peter who pointed out that the tree had died as they passed back that way the next day. Jesus wouldn't have looked at it a second time if Peter hadn't marveled that His curse worked.

Want to know a trick to have confidence in your words? Eliminate lies from your speech. When you practise lying constantly, not even you will believe yourself at times. Your spirit is the one that uses your words and goes out to connect with God's spirit to order the circumstance and situations you've declared with your mouth. Don't decieve your spirit with lies.

Ok, that was kinda off tangent, so back on! hahaha!
So instead of leaving you with a prayer, I left you with a "confession". What's a confession?
no it's not just to admit something you did. This confession has a different meaning.
It is speaking God's Words in concert. It means AGREEING with God and speaking His words.
The greek word for this confession is homologia -
profession
  1. subjectively: whom we profess to be ours
  2. objectively: profession [confession] i.e. what one professes [confesses] http://www.searchgodsword.org/lex/grk/view.cgi?number=3671

HOW TO CONQUER FEAR AND ANXIETY

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God (Philipians 4:6).

The Word of God tells us to be anxious for nothing; that means to have no anxiety about anything. Rather, in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving you should make your requests be made known to God. The result of this is that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding shall garrison your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Also, the Bible is replete with the admonition for us not to fear. Now if we couldn't stay without having fear and anxiety the scriptures wouldn't tell us not to fear or to refuse anxiety. God knows you could live without anxiety, panic attacks and fear, that's why He said for you not fear or be anxious. He only tells you to do what you have the capacity to do.

So in conquering fear and anxiety you've got to have faith in God's Word. Your heart(spirit) must be stable in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving as you express your faith towards God.
Fear is actually faith in the ability of all that is negative to stand against you and defeat you! Thus to conquer it, you have to have faith in the positiveness: faith in God's Word, faith in His love for you, faith in His grace, power and ability to put you over in life!

The knowlege of God's Word is the beginning of your deliverance from fear and anxiety. You can't have faith in God's Word if you don't know the Word. Your faith grows with the knowlege of the Word. As faith is stirred in your spirit, fear is dispelled. Jesus said in John 8:32 : "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" God's Word is the truth that delivers you from fear.

So it doesn't matter in what area fear tries to attack you, refuse to fret! Find out the truth from God's Word concerning the situation and stay your mind on that truth, refusing to be moved by any contrary or nagative information.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for your Word in my spirit today stirs faith and dispels fear and anxiety in Jesus' Name. I refuse panic-attacks and reject every thought of worry and anxiety for I know that my faith in your Word and in your mighty power, love and grace towards me is my victory over the devil and the powers of darkness. Amen

Now I want you to notice several things in Pastor Chris' message here.

  • The opening scripture shared with us how to pray. We don't get jumpy, but calmly let God know our request, and we give him thanks as though we've already recieved our answer. That means we should BELEIVE WHILE WE'RE STILL PRAYING, THAT WE'VE BEEN ANSWERED. - (That's a major secret on how recieve answers to prayers. first u ask, then give thanks believing you've been answered, while still praying. If you don't believe, you won't see the results. )
  • The second thing to notice is in the first paragraph; when your done praying, RELAX. Rest in the knowlege(by faith) that your loving father has heard you. If you keep asking over and over, it means you don't really believe that He'll do it, and remember that God is ONLY moved by your faith. He can't do anything for you without your permission and your faith is that permission (in Genesis the Bible tells us that he gave man dominion on earth- since he's a Spirit, he needs you to allow him to help you and that's through your trust in him).
  • Thirdly, I highlighted the true meaning of fear for you because when you have a clearer picture of what it is, you'll know how to defeat it. Fear is actually faith, but not in faith in your desired results; instead, it's trusting in the negative to conquer you(and acting on it via your anxiety and negative words). Remember, FAITH is an immutable law. IT ALWAYS WORKS whether in the negative or positive, so dispel the negative faith, ie fear, and live in the realm of God's light.

The True Essence of Prayer

Extracted from Pastor Chris's message in Rhapsody of Realities(Dec 11,2010)

Confess your faults to one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16)
.

Many often chastise themselves for not being able to pray for long hours. What is the significance of long prayer times? you might want to ask. Well, God never said we must spend long hours in prayers for Him to hear us. He never told us how long our prayers should be and doesn't demand from us many hours of prayers as the definition of time by some is. But if you spend long hours, that's great. Remember, He lives in eternity; therefore, He's not regulated by minutes and hours as we are in the earth. So, in a sence, the significance or essence of a prayer is not its protraction in terms of the number of hours spent praying. It's not "how long" you pray that makes an impact; it's "how right" you pray.

Many spend long hours in prayer saying the wrong things, hence their lives are unfullfilled, being void of the spiritual results and impact of prayer. They have missed the true essence of prayer which is fellowship and communion with the Lord. That communion not only builds your relationship with Him, but also helps transform your personality from glory to glory.

What God wants is for you to spend quality time alone with Him, away from everything else. For example, you'd be amazed how much impact a fifteen or thirty minute time alone with the Lord, spent praying intensely in the Spirit, will produce in your life.

...

Prayer
Dear Father, I love and appreciate every opportunity I have to felllowship with you in prayer. I thank you because those moments I spend alone with you are significant in improving my life and shaping my destiny as I get synchronized with your perfect will for my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Did you spot a secret in the scripture extraction? Look again and you'll see how to recieve divine healing. ...pray one for another, that ye may be healed... When you're experiencing illness one of the sure ways to get healed quickly is to pray fervently(with deep & strong emotions as though your prayer is the only thing in the world that can cause change) for someone you see as suffering more than you, forgetting yourself for a moment in the process.
Remember that the Kingdom of God is about sowing and reaping. Want healing? Sow a seed of healing to someone else.

This message was not about that, but I thought I'd share that with you any way. :-)

Have The Right Perception of God (How to recieve answers to prayers)

But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:16)

When you pray to God, you must first believe in your heart that He's more willing to grant your request than you're willing to pray. You must be persuaded that when you ask, you'll receive. Don't go to Him with the mindset that: ''Well, I'll just ask because I was told to. I don't know if He'll really give it to me." You've already lost out that way.

Read what James has to say about such an attitude: "...ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways" (James 1:6-8).

If you pray to God and began to wonder whether or not He'd grant your request, you more or less concluded you wont get it ever before you asked. That's because you were double-minded, and James says the double minded shouldn't think he'll receive anything from the Lord. Now that's not because the Lord won't give him, but because he can't receive as long as he's in that state.

God is your loving heavenly Father. "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32). However, to receive from Him, you must approach Him in faith as His Word has said you should. That's because

"without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:16)"

So Stop relating with God according to your religious impressions, perceptions, and prejudices about Him that have no basis. Believe in His fatherhood, and your divine rights and privileges as His child. Believe He's more willing to give you than you could ever be to receive.

Prayer

My Father, I thank you for loving me so much and making me your child. Thank you for all the blessings and benefits you've given me as your beloved child. I ask with confidence, knowing that you always hear and answer me. Thank you father, in Jesus' Name.

Rid Your Heart Of Fear!

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident (Psalm 27:3)

Fear is a tormenting spirit. It's one of the most easily deployed tools of satan-our adversary. This is the reason you must rid your heart of fear. The reflexes of fear must be completely disabled from your life; you have to grow to that point. I love it each time I fear Pastor Chris say "I lost my fright many years ago." Same here! There's no fear in me because I'm conscious and full of the love of God, and perfect love eliminates fear (1 John 4:18).

Fear creates the perfect environment for the devil to torment, intimidate and dominates people's lives. Never yeild your heart to fear, or give it room in your life. Knowing how much fear can dissipate ones faith, each time the Lord sent an angel to bring a divine message to people back in bible days, the angel's first utterance was "Fear not!"

The Lord Jesus, during His earth walk also consciously assuaged the fears of people with those same words. On a certain occasion, He was with a man name Jairus, whose daughter was ill. But while on the way to Jairus' house to heal the young girl, words came that she was dead. When Jesus heard it, all He said was
"Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole"(Luke 8:50). Jesus has to quickly counsel him to rid his heart of fear to stop fear from dominating his heart (Luke 8:49-50).

To completely rid your heart of fear you must keep feeding your spirit with the Word. The day-to-day meditation on the Word will cause faith to rise in your spirit and surmount all your fears. Refuse to allow the wrong information that breeds fear in your spirit. The information you allow in your mind will determine the condition of your heart(spirit). For this reason, you must guard your heart with vigilance and dilligence "...for out of it flow the springs of life" (Proverbs 4:23 AMP).

God has given us a powerful weapon to cast out fear. That weapon is His Word. The Bible says, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword... "(Hebrews 4:12)

Prayer
Dear Father, I commend myself to your living and eternal Word today, which is able to rid my heart of fear and cause faith to rise in me like a giant. I declare that I'm growing in the knowlege of your Word and the revelation of your love, therefore fear has no place in me! I have the spirit of power, love and a sound mind, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen

Light From Darkness

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts... But we have this treasure in earthen vessels... (2 Corinthians 4:6-7) .

The Apostle Paul, through the wisdom of the Spirit describes for us in our opening verse something phenomenal about God; He commanded light to shine out of darkness. It's an known fact that light and darkness aren't compatible, so how then could light possible come out of darkness? Well the bible tells us that the things which are impossible with men are possible with God (Luke 18:27). Remember, the earth was a chaotic mass that was enveloped in complete darkness (Genesis 1:2). But at His command, God brought order to the maddening chaos and light leapt out of the looming darkness.

Now, here's an amazing thought: this same God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, according to the latter part of our opening scripture, has Himself shone in our hearts! This means He has brought within us the same abilityto cause light to shine out of a dark situation. So as a Christian, the power to cause something good to come out of a negative situation resides in you. Thus, if for example, you've been diagnose with a debilitating ailment, that ailment or disease, as it were, is the darkness, and you can bring out light - divine healing - out of that situation.

No matter what darkness may be facing you today, you can command light to come out of it. If it's sickness or pain in the body of a loved one, place your hand on the part of their body where the sickness is and call forth healing. If it's with your finances, call forth prosperity! God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, has shone in your heart, making impossibilities possible. Can you see why you cannot be disadvantaged? Right in the midst of the seeming impossibilities are your opportunities to excel.

No wonder He says in 2 Corinthians 4:7 ''But we have this treasure in earthen vessels..." There's a treasure in you; it's a treasure of the power, love, light and divine perfection. God has shone in our hearts and given us the ability to bring light out of darkness. Therefore, make a change in your situation today. There's no problem too hard that you can't solve, no situation is too hopeless that can't change.

PRAYER
I know I cannot be disadvantaged because the God that does the unimaginable, the unthinkable, and the unexpected has shone in my heart; and as He is, so am I in this world. He has given me the ability to bring forth good from within me and change hopeless situations. For this I give praise and worship you, glorious Father, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
